Dear colleagues,

we had the pleasure to register you as a participant to the scientific meeting “Focus on Congenital Cardiac Surgery” that was scheduled for December, 4 - 5, 2008 at Leipzig.

Unfortunately, until today the number of registrations was not sufficient to perform a successful symposium. This may in part be related to the worldwide economic crisis which may have an impact on the motivation to attend meetings for many of our colleagues. It may in addition have caused some impact on the necessary financial support for such a meeting. No matter what the causes are, as organizers we think that the effective number of pre-registrations were not sufficient for performing a successful meeting.

After a thoughtful team discussion we decided that it will be better to cancel this meeting for December. We will eventually opt to organize a similar meeting and will be glad to welcome you again at a later time.

As an registered participant we will credit the registration fee to your account within the next days.
